box set. The selections span several decades and there�s little rhyme or
reason. It�s a grab bag in which several artists appear three times, as
is the case with Brass Construction, Phil Fearon & Galaxy, Soul II
Soul, Freddie Jackson, and Loose Ends (though not with �Hangin� on a
String�). Gang Starr is present with five songs, while Wu-Tang Clan
appears once. There�s no distinction made between radio edits, extended
mixes, or album versions, which can be problematic for people expecting a
specific form of an inclusion, but the set is, nonetheless, a cheap way
to obtain a big chunk of popular R&B and rap.
